About the Fab City Awards

The 2025 Fab City Awards received an incredible response, with more than 50 submissions from around the world, with projects representing six continents and a wide variety of organization types: from Fab Labs and creative hubs to public sector initiatives and personal applications.

A significant portion of these came from the Global South, aligning with our strategic focus on amplifying voices and innovation from historically underrepresented regions. This spread really highlights the diversity and reach of the Fab City community. It’s especially encouraging to see strong participation from both established institutions and independent applicants alike.

Stay tuned for the announcement of the winning projects!
