Since its launch in 2023, the Bootcamp has been a global platform to experiment, collaborate, and take action through the Fab City Full Stack framework. From Bhutan to Linz to Yucatán, the Bootcamp has gathered urbanists, policymakers, designers, and community leaders to prototype real solutions tailored to their territories.

The Bootcamp continues to evolve as a space for local-global transformation, with upcoming editions on the horizon and a growing community of practitioners driving impact in their cities.

What is the Full Stack Bootcamp?

Think of it as more than a workshop—the Bootcamp is:

How does it work?

1. Immersion into the Fab City Full Stack

Participants explore each layer of the Full Stack—Infrastructure, Learning, Innovation, Communities, Territories, Bioregions, and Planet—and understand how they interconnect in practice.

2. Applied Learning & Prototyping

Forget theory alone. The Bootcamp is about doing. Through case studies, workshops, and co-creation sessions, participants co-develop strategic action plans tailored to their own cities and regions.

3. Peer-to-Peer Collaboration

The Bootcamp brings together diverse urban actors. Whether you’re a public official, a maker, an academic, or a community organizer, the Bootcamp is a space to connect with others working toward similar goals.

4. Global-Local Impact

Participants leave not only with new insights but also with the tools, methodologies, and network to implement Fab City principles locally, while contributing to the global movement.

While no Bootcamp is currently scheduled, new editions are in development—whether as part of the next Fab City Summit or tailor-made for cities joining the Fab City Global Initiative.
