Fab City Awards

The Fab City Awards is a yearly innovation award that supports projects building the conditions for regenerative, locally productive and resilient futures in our cities and regions.

Launched in 2023, the Fab City Awards highlight innovative projects that promote sustainability and resilience within the Fab City network. Their aim is to showcase impactful, replicable initiatives contributing to a global repository of best practices addressing contemporary urban and rural challenges.

About the Fab City Awards

Every year, the Fab City Awards run an open call for projects that respond to the changing priorities, challenges and opportunities faced by the global community. Applications are open to projects from a range of stakeholders such as Fab Cities, Fab Labs, Universities and other institutions, community groups and more.

Submissions are assessed based on their alignment with the values of the Fab City Manifesto, including local productivity, open knowledge, distributed governance, social equity, circularity, and collaboration by an independent jury panel from the Fab City community.

The winning projects may receive seed funding, scholarships, travel grants to attend international events, or other forms of support that help expand their reach and deepen their impact.
