Fab City Summit Boston 2026 takes place this year in Boston as part of FAB26, the global gathering of the Fab Lab Network. Fab City is proud to co-host FAB26 together with the Fab Foundation and the Center for Bits and Atoms at MIT.
As one of the flagship moments of the program, the Summit brings together global voices to imagine and build regenerative urban futures.
A forward-looking program focused on interspecies perspectives, ecological design, and collaborative practices across communities and environments.
Taking place in Prague, this Summit highlighted initiatives in the Fab City community engaging with policy and effective climate communication. Two new Fab localities joined the Network, and the Fab City Award winners presented their projects to an international community of changemakers.

The Summit gathers experts, local communities and organisation representatives committed to exploring open source, localised and regenerative solutions that support people and planet. For a distributed movement like Fab City, the Summit is a yearly opportunity to bring the global community together. It allows us to reflect on the year and set a collective agenda towards locally productive, globally connected initiatives. The Summit also marks the annual pledge of new cities, regions and other territories joining the Fab City Network, committing to producing almost everything they consume by 2054.
