Our ecosystem brings together a diverse constellation of partners—cities and local governments, universities, companies, NGOs, Fab Labs, and regional innovation networks—who collaborate with us across projects, programs, and bioregional initiatives. This distributed coalition provides the governance, expertise, and infrastructure needed to accelerate the transition toward more resilient, circular, and locally productive cities.

At the core of this ecosystem is the Fab City Collective, a global group of dedicated individuals who have contributed to building and shaping Fab City from day zero. Their work—spanning design, research, community development, technology, policy, and education—continues to drive the movement’s evolution. Together, partner organisations and the Collective form a living, interconnected ecosystem that enables continuous learning, shared experimentation, and the scaling of ideas across regions and disciplines.
