Our contribution
In Year 1, the Fab City Foundation will focus on providing a multistakeholder collaborative environment for local makers and designers. This year, the principal objective is to recruit design students and graduates from the top Estonian MA programs in design and provide them with the international experience of the network of Distributed Design. The local emergent creatives will have access to learning, prototyping, and co-working area in Kopli93 in Tallinn, Estonia, including its maker space. The activities in Kopli93 will be complemented by local workshops and one international workshop.
In Year 2, the Fab City Foundation will focus on consolidating the multistakeholder collaborative environment for local makers and designers established during year 1, while expanding the know-how of local emergent talents into the field of open and collaborative development of prototypes.
In Year 3, the Fab City Foundation will focus on expanding the multistakeholder collaborative environment for local makers and designers established during the previous years, reaching an international promotion phase.
