Fab City joined change-makers from around the world in Czechia for FAB25, a global gathering of the maker movement and civic innovation communities.
Our programme brought together urban practitioners, policymakers, designers, and grassroots leaders around topics like bioregional transformation, circular economies, and citizen-led innovation. Through hands-on workshops and strategic conversations, we explored how to make our cities more regenerative and locally productive.

What is FAB25?
Every year FABx brings together the global FabLab network, makers, researchers and innovators to reimagine the future of production and digital fabrication. Over several days of talks, workshops, and hands-on sessions, participants share knowledge, showcase projects, and collaborate on solutions that bridge technology, sustainability, and community impact.
At FAB25, we brought together a vibrant mix of panels, workshops, and networking moments to showcase the ongoing work of the Fab City Global Initiative. More to come, this is just the beginning.
In addition to the core Fab City Program, members of our Global Network are contributing to FAB25 through independent sessions that reflect the shared values of the Fab City Manifesto. These include discussions on impact, sustainability, and the evolving role of Fab Cities, Regions, and Labs in shaping regenerative futures.
