Fab City

Global Collaboration, Local Production

This open-access book provides current interdisciplinary research insights into the Fab City concept. This approach describes how modes of production and consumption can be designed in such a way that, on the one hand, global collaboration within and across communities, and on the other hand, the production of these goods takes place locally, as close as possible to the point of need, and in a decentralized manner through distributed production, for example in Fab(rication) Labs.
