Fab City Track @ Fab Asia Network 2025

From November 14, 2025, Shenzhen will host the Fab Lab Asia Network Gathering (FAN25), co-located with Maker Faire Shenzhen. This major regional event brings together innovators, makers, researchers, and educators from across Asia and beyond to explore pathways toward sustainable, resilient, and locally productive cities.

As part of this gathering, the Fab City Global Initiative, in collaboration with Beijing Normal University and Litchee Lab, will co-organize a Fab City Track during November 16th & 17th. The sessions will introduce the FCGI to academia, showcase ongoing projects from the Asian network, and strengthen long-term collaboration with universities across the region.

Key activities include the State of the Asian Network Panel, chaired by Fab City Foundation CEO Kate Armstrong, featuring representatives Hyebin Goo (Fab City Seoul) and Jamyang Sherub Dema (Fab City Bhutan), and the Prototyping Fab Cities Workshop, led by Saad Chinoy (Spudnik Lab & GIG)
